Hi All, Happy New Year!

I want to build new PC, never had AMD CPUs before was always intel hardcore fan but it seems that people recommend AMD these days a lot...

I am not really sure if its even worth saving paying slightly less for AMD? when i get get i7 10k?

PC is for competitive online gaming, like CSGO, Valorant, COD WZ, PUBG etc...

I also want this to be 6+ years future proof

I will be getting RTX 3060 TI when i can get my hands on one

So options i was looking at some recomnded budget MOBOs to go with CPUs

CPU - CORE I7-10700K 3.8GHZ (COMET LAKE) SOCKET LGA1200 PROCESSOR - RETAIL - £349.99

Mobo - MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS (SOCKET LGA 1200) DDR4 ATX MOTHERBOARD - £139.99

Total £490 ($670)

or

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Processor (8C/16T, 36 MB Cache, 4.4 GHz Max Boost) - £269.99

Mobo - MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard - £149.46

Total - £420 ($575)

or

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Processor (8C/16T, 36 MB Cache, 4.5 GHz Max Boost) - £319.99

Mobo - Mobo - MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard - £149.46

Total - £470 ($642)

Any advice please? thank you!

That's Cool and all but that doesn't imply the next 6 years will be the same.
Before we had AMD being zero threat. Now AMD has caught up, if cpu's are going to see a boost in performance its now.
For gpu's 1080p@144 was the standard and if you could drop lots of money maybe 2k@144hz, but now things are headed
for a change with the new 3k series gpu's.

I'm not trying to deter you I just want you to be realistic with your request. If your current pc suffices I suggest you hold out.
The fact your coming in saying you want something new then asking for old amd parts tells me a lot. Now the time to save
and get something really nice unless your an editor or a streamer.
