so my sister said her computer has been shutting off every once in awhile. it sounded like it was overheating to me so i took off the heatsink for the cpu and all the fans to clean off. i cleaned them up then put them back into the computer. flipped the switch on the psu and went to push the power button on the computer but nothing happens.

i did notice though when i flipped the switch on the psu on the fans on the gpu would stutter/twitch.

any ideas? it turned on fine an hour before i cleaned it. i only touched the fans/heatsink and properly reinstalled them.

Sounds like you forgot a power line to the CPU. Triple check you plugged it all back in properly.

Either that or you plugged something in wrong snd fried the MOBO

Maybe reset the CMOS by pulling the battery and putting it back in
