Looking to upgrade my 100 year old dell u2312hm monitor, and use it as a second monitor, while upgrading to a 144 hz monitor. What should I be looking for specs wise in a monitor? (What's real and what's overhyped). I usually play FPS's so I heard the upgrade from 60hz to 144 hz is the major and most notable benefit.
Price would be <500$ CAD, if possible, unaware of monitor pricings. Would be better if there was a prime deal as well, although amazon canada prime day is pretty scarce
e/also preferably 24', not a fan of big monitors

TN is dark.
VA is cross between the two.
IPS for best brightness and colours.
