Hey there, my old mouse is abandoning me so I need to buy a new one.

I've been using a Logitech Anywhere 2 since a couple of years and worked just fine.

I use it 90% for work (using a notebook) and 10% for gaming (mainly FPS like Unreal Tournament 4).

Things that I need on the mouse:

- Bluetooth support - mandatory - on a notebook it's kinda useful.

- Rechargeable - mandatory - I don't want to bother changing AA batteries.

- At least 7 + customizable buttons - useful for browsing documents, shortcuts etc. Also for gaming...

- Must be small - I tend use fingertip grip, so large mice are a no-no for me.

Now I've been seriously struggling finding these three characteristics in a single mouse...

What I've found...

Logitech Anywhere 2s - looks ok and I'm used to its shape. However I've read it's louder and the scroll wheel tends to be loose. It's my first choice right now.

Logitech Anywhere 3 - reading the specs looks like a downgrade of the previous one.

Razer Deathadder V2Pro - has everything I need but hell, 149,99 €, also not sure if I really need 20.000 DPI since I've been doing great with 1.600 till now. Dunno...

Corsair Harpoon Wireless - has everything I need except just 6 buttons. Also 99€ isn't the best price on the market.

Razer Pro Click - Literally the perfect mouse for me! But hell... white. The whole Razer brand goes black since the dinosaurs... except this mouse. Also 95€ makes it a bit expensive.

I mean I'd also go for the pricey Deathadder but I'd like to have a better review from these one can find online.
I'm not sure if worth buying a 150€ mouse over a 50€ mouse just because
is more silent and has a bunch of extra DPI of which I'll never make an use.

/edit

How about that DPI craziness? Is that really important? I mean, it just rises sensitiveness of the mouse or improves accuracy too?
Cause if it's just to make 1km on the screen moving 1mm the mouse, then I don't see the advantage of having such numbers.

Opinions? Thanks!

Anywhere 3's are quieter

I would get another Logitech. Logitech lasts the longest and if you arent trying to min max on your frames then its the best choice to the dollar.

Amazon basics gaming mouse isn't bad, same manufacturers as logitech.

Thanks! The main problem with Logitech gaming mice is there is NOT a Bluetooth AND Rechargeable mouse. Either uses USB plug or AA Batteries.

About the Anywhere 3 it's smaller, no ergonomic and has less buttons. Dunno how that's can be seen as an improvement to be honest.

So for now I'm staying on the 2S which is quite cheap... or the Razer Pro Click.

I was also checking the Razer Naga Pro which has swappable panels, but still, I'm not buying it for gaming mainly... dunno if worth it.

Dunno how "fast" you mean but I can perform with ease shock combos while falling off a wall-walk, then turn, switch weapon and headshot somebody else. Finally landing on floor.
This on a 60hz notebook monitor with a 1200 DPI mouse.

And I'm not even a pro player on UT4...

I was playing UT99 and Quake Arena back when you had to clean your mouse "ball" every day to prevent dust get it stuck.

So yes, all these tech improvements on mice sound amazing but in my opinion is more about marketing.
I doubt anyone would even notice the difference between 500 or 1000 polling rate if wasn't told. Except for the energy consumption, ofc.

Anyway, most of these Bluetooth mice I've named got both the bluetooth and the wifi 2.4 or 5ghz receiver, which plugs into an USB tho and it's a bit annoying on a notebook.
I can use it when gaming ofc, but I never actually felt the need for it...
,
What can and should actually be improved on mice, in my opinion, are functionalities, ergonomics, customization, portability and so on...

Logitech g502, except for the few that had the double click issue, is an amazing choice. On sale right now at the moment as well

In the end I bought a Logitech Anywhere 2S.
Since the new Anywhere 3 came out prices dropped and I got it for 53€.

Works smooth and I'm used to the shape. It looks very similar to the older 2, but I can already say it has been improved a lot.
