Hey all,

I work from home and have a few side hustles on the side.

I'm not sure if my employer can track and see what I do on my work laptop but I will assume they can (safe than sorry). I don't want my employer to know that I'm also working on other things during the day so I plan to get a KVM switch and hook it up to my other laptop.

My question is, if i switch to my second laptop, will/could my employer still see what I'm viewing on the monitor or just the laptop?

Anyone know?

Employer won’t be able to see what’s going on with your personal pc if your using a KVM

Perfect
So they'll just see what currently running on the work laptop.

Thanks

Yeah. They won’t be able to back feed through the kvm switch. It just switches between two inputs and isolated the other. What kvm are you using?

What they can track is inactive time though.

I haven't purchased one yet. Looking to get one that can support 2x 4k monitors.
