Gonna spare y’all the TL;DR.

1. My RAM says I’m running Somewhere in the low 2k MHz even though it’s 3200mhz Ram (I wanted 3600 but for whatever reason PCPartPicker didn’t say it was comparable although the ASRock x570m PRO4 is... o well it’s done)

2. Does anyone have a quick reference guide for temps? I’ve never monitored them honestly but, I want to OC and I more importantly want to ensure I did everything properly. My CPU temps were 50-55C after 10-20 mins in the bios.

3. How the fuck do I get a bootable win10 drive when I only
have a Mac working.

4. Is the wraith stealth sufficient for the 3600 with a 280x crystal case by Corsair while
I wait for the Corsair AIO prices to chill out?

5. Are their any other coolingoptions preferably AIO options (white or black, I don’t care tbh. Either look good.) that I should consider other than the Corsair h100i Platinum? I just want to keep things cool. I’ll even use an air cooler I just need suggestions.

6. Can I DGAF cable management in the back compartment nobody sees? I removed all HD bays and have things routed perfectly. When I went to tackle the back I couldn’t find a reason to care about the mess.

7. I have a device with win7 on it. Can I make a bootable from that ? should I? It’s really fkin slow.

8. I only have the 2 supplies LL120mm fans in the front until I get an aio or an air cooler. Buy fans or wait?

1. what art said
2. what art said but keep in mind bios idle is much hotter than desktop idle but to me that still sounds too warm.
3. fuck windows 10
4. at stock of course it will be, but don't overclock with it. Also why do you want corsair's garbage? Go arctic freezer, they got a dank vrm fan and no useless rgb insane value and low price.
5. arctic freezer II
6. cable management is optional
7. windows 7 is not slow, it even has a better scheduler than 10 in many workloads. Even with build 2004.
8. do one fan in front one in back for now, all you need for push/pull config technically...

Simulationcraft for WoW

6t = 29.63s
12t = 17.95s / 34.30s
24t = 17.96s / 39.10s / 50.80s

24t before would always take 39 or 51 seconds on build 1909. It would never run in 18.
it will decide if it wants to take 18 or 39 or 51 seconds. It's completely random which one it will end up picking, but it will stick to it and it will actually take that long.

It has to do with threads being actively mis-scheduled in some really dumb ways.
on Linux and Win7 this workload takes 14 seconds, every single time.
