Hey!

So currently I got my Windows 10 installed on my laptops SSD 128GB but Im gonna replace it with a 1 TB SSD.

I decided to try to make a clean install on it and I look at some videos that showed how ro make a USB bootable Windows 10 install; https://youtu.be/l6Oz27sUFxk

So when I have the USB drive ready I could just replace my old SSD with the new and boot the computer with the USB to install Windows?

Do I need to purchase a new key from like ebay also or can I use the existing Windows key? I have got a retail one.

Cant Edit first post. I think I was wrong about retail. The laptop came with pre installed Windows 10 so I guess its OEM and I need to pruchase a new?

Shouldn't I be able to use the same key even if it's an OEM if it's the same computer but only another SSD? I don't get it

Yes. You can use the key that came with the laptop.

When you do a clean install of Win 10 on the 1TB SSD, just don't enter the product key during the install. When the install is finished, you will find that Windows 10 will be activated.

On a side note: Unhook the internet when installing Windows 10.
