I am doing a fresh install of winodows on a newly built PC that doesnt have windows because they charge $140 for it.....
I decided to install it myself. Purchased the key and also have the USB ready...
Is there any steps I should take to install it.. doing it this way first time...

Also once windows is installed is it okay to do a backup recovery ?

Just make sure to select boot drive in bios first.
As for installation, follow the prompts.
You wanna back up an empty window?
Just reinstall... Or do a back up when everything has been configured like software and settings then do back up.
