Best motherboard to pair this with when its avail? I was going to buy a i9-9900k but for $100 extra bucks ill wait and get the newest one when available.
I initially was going to do i9-9900K along with MSI - MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON AC OR GIGABYTE Z390 DESIGNARE but i think its worth the wait for the new gen chip.
What motherboard should i pair it with? I will be doing a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti + G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600.

Its a new socket so wait till they are out.
Unless your aiming to do high oc's better off just buying ryzen cpu now.

tbh i had the extra cash from selling some old laptops + tablets. It's def overkill but I figure why not go overkill one time purchase.
Should i just go i9900k then? are there any new motherboards that support this new processor

There might be not 100%. But always wait a bit with new tech to see real reviews.

There wont be a performance increase over the 9900k. All you get is an extra two cores for more multi core power. But if you want multi core get a ryzen.

Also the Z490 boards are a new socket so it wont be compatible with coffee lake chips.

You're gonna have to pay a new item tax for no little to no improvements. That's been intels model for about 5 to 6 years now
