175 is about what that normally goes for on the KF edition
Not really a good deal.

Besides i5 processors arent worth getting anymore

that's the only intel chip i can even recommend without down-grading further.

it doesn't have hyper-threading, but the price is decent for a 6-core that you can OC pretty close to 5.0.

i bought my 8700k for ~$220. which has hyper-threading. it's now $350+ around here.
9700k is 8-core, but lacks hyper-threading like the 9600k. and costs ~$350 as well. it costs too much to pay for those extra 2 cores.
the 9900k is 8-core with hyper-threading. the only true upgrade to the 8700k imo. it's also over $500 around here.

it's a good time to be on team AMD right now. but the 9600k is a decent chip for the price

probably will, since they've already used 8th and 9th gen to determine a price for hyper-threading. (~$150)
i doubt this particular chip by much, if any, but maybe the i7/i9's

neither of that is now though and i already have a 9th gen mobo ready

i think intel was banking on amd not releasing anything good so they rolled out even more garbage low end processors.

they even had the balls to remove hyperthreading on some skus that had hyperthreading before

now they lost market share on the low end
nice one
