I get shit from a guy in my gaming discord because I dont have dual monitors even though my PC is half decent.
Then theres the guys there that are still rocking old balls computers that they basically play diablo 2 on lol.
Seems like the gold standard is a decent computer with multiple monitors.

Anyone else in that boat? old computer? single monitor? both?

I mean once you use dual monitors u never go back to 1.

Two monitors is the only way to go.

4k HDR for media and whatnot and 2560x1440 144hz for most everything else.

I use a Dell U3011 for my main monitor and got the vid card hooked to the TV for media stuff.


My setup is old, like me. :D

I got win 7 64 bit 4gb ram lol onboard video but i dont game on it just surf net and stream. Only 1 monitor hehe.

I cant imagine having to use an old vishera cpu for anything lol
I tested one along with a 2600K for the red dead 2 release and they both chugged along pretty slow.

I cant imagine using that old titan for 2k or 4k either.

P.S. TV is old 37" LG 1080p. :)




Once they started with the pay to play, microtransactions, DLC, etc., I stopped buying games. The ONLY time game companies HEAR you, and listen to you, is when you don't purchase what they are selling.
They can't sell pay to play, microtransactions, DLC, etc., if no one is buying it.




/e Btw, I'm OLD. I grew up with zeroK no def TV, so 1080p doesn't bother me a bit.

I build a new computer every three years so using that old hardware would drive me nuts
Props for sticking to it though cause I see people still doing FX videos and if they hold up in the current year
