This will tell you what motherboard you currently have...Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download ...get the
FREE version from either link listed.
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.
It'll look something like this...

your link doesn't work, pc's old I would start with a new mobo/cpu/ram/gpu. Rest you can keep and reuse with the exception of the psu which will depend on its wattage output.
so it comes down to ur budget.
Which link are you referring to the one about the pc details? Or the build list? Ill put some details of the old pc in the posting
The cyberpower gua880 specs:
AMD FX-4300 3.80GHZ Quad-Core | AMD 760G Chipset | 8GB DDR3 | 1TB HDD | Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT720 1GB Video Card | 24X
The motherboard listed in the pc build link is:
MSI 760GM-P34(FX) Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
The build list shows its for a gua880 that they have customized.
Is there a model or part number on the old mobo itself that i could look up to distinguish which one it has?
My budget will be probably around 400-500 as ill slowly gain parts look for some deals etc. Not going to order everything all at once but def want to get it going in the next month or 2
