Last year I picked up one of those jerry rigged X79 chinese motherboards that are circulating.
I have another one that I plan on using a Xeon E5 to run some batch servers like minecraft/unturned/DST

Anyone have experience with these?
Not sure what the limit on the number of batches I would be looking at with say a Xeon E5-2660 versus a Xeon E5-1620

I plan on running 32 gigabtyes of ddr3 ecc in quad channel and dual slot nvme expansion cards to cut down on cables so each batch has a reasonable amount of read and write bandwith.
