Want to start off by saying this is going to be pretty long and anything helps.
Specs : Asus Strix 5700Xt || Ryzen 5 3600 || tomahawk b450max// monitor : Asus vg248qe

I built my pc around a week ago ( Christmas Day) and ever since then I’ve been having major issues.

Issues 1. from the start my pc wouldn’t even pick up the hdmi cable ( learned that my mobo can’t pick that up or dvi cables up so I have to hook it up to the GPU)I hook up the hdmi to the GPU and when turning on my pc it says “ hdmi no signal “ so I buy a display port cable and I still get the issue sometimes, when booting up the pc it says “ DisplayPort cable no signal “ only way to fix it is hard restarting the pc and booting it up again ( does not happen every time but 3-5 times it does )

Issue 2 | weird sounds
Whenever I boot up my pc I can hear a static noise sometimes. And I can still have sound without a cord going from monitor to back of the pc. On my last pc I needed a cord going from back of monitor to the back of the pc for audio.

Issue 3| oculus rift : so I initially bought this pc for VR and it has been going awful, I got my VR set up and it worked fine for a little bit, but I lose volume and the ability to use the oculus mic. Nobody can hear me talk and I lose all game volume.

Issue 4| USB port issues... like I said, I got my VR set up but it was being weird so I decided to recalibrate and re setup my oculus and sensors, my USB ports weren’t picking up the sensors up. I tried plugging them

1. when you have a graphics card inserted almost every motherboard disables the mobo hdmi port. What graphics card are you using and did you buy it new or used? Also, are you overclocking it and if so, what is your voltage to the gpu set to?
2. static noise like what? like a fan shitting itself? or like electricity arcing?
3. again, what graphics card are you using and did you buy it new or used?
4. for the sensors, does your computer recognize that something is plugged into the port? if so, try reinstalling the drivers from the oculus website. if not, it's either an issue with the mobo or the sensor itself.

Yep, I do realize that I can’t use mobo with hdmi anymore, I’ve upgraded to a DisplayPort cable and I plug it in from monitor to gpu but like I said, sometimes it still black screens and says “ no DisplayPort “

2. Sorry, should have specified my specs.
All specs were BRAND NEW.
