Hello there,

I was wondering if I could get some opinions or help on my search for new headphones

Budget: $500
Use: Gaming/music/movies

I was going to do Sennheiser HD600 with a mod mic but then I was thinking of the Steelseries arctis pro + gamedac but I feel like I might be lacking in sound experience...

Does anyone have an opinion or a path I should take with this budget?

Thanks

I have Steel Series Arctic 1 Wireless. They just released artic 7, but any release in the series is good.

Very comfortable, breathable. Sound quality is great. Battery works well.

I can piss in the other side of my house as my computer and still have these on and working.

Arctic 1's - $90-110
Arctic 7's - $200-250+

Thank you for the response phaggot.

I did actually end up going down this rabbit hole for audio amps and headphones so I might trickle into many more reviews/products before I thinking gaming

i use the razer tiamat v2 with an asus xonar ae sound card and they're amazing. pinpoint accuracy for gaming. crystal clear sounds quality for music.
the subs are pretty powerful too. the inline mixer lets you change from 7.1 to stereo, mute your mic, and change the volume of each individual speaker set (there are 5 speakers/drivers in each side).

the headset is a little over $200 and the sound card should be about $80

Budget was for headphones really. I am open to spending more if I were to buy an amp.

I also plan on buying a usb mod mic
