Hello,

I was wondering if bluetooth nowadays is reliable and allows you to go with wireless peripherals? Or is it still not reliable? Anyone have any experience? (Bluetooth mouse for laptop seems to work fine XD)

Bluetooth itself.. Not so reliable. "Bluetooth" that imitates 2.4ghz waves.. Far more reliable. Check out Logitechs unifying receivers.

Unifying is 2.4Ghz. I guess it depends on the receiver if it's just a desktop PC, but I have had terrible transmission loss with standard Bluetooth dongles (not any crazy aftermarket or motherboard incorporated ones). I can use my Unifying receiver from across the room and it still feels like I'm less than a foot away from it.

im using BT mouse+keyboard at my TV, goes to my pc in another room.. and i have much better experience using BT over unifying, kept getting drop outs back when i used unifying..

in theory yes 2.4ghz should be better and more responsive, but BT is fine and reliable for normal pc use, i wouldnt use it for gaming tho
