I have a LGA 1155 motherboard cpu socket thingy atm.
I3-3220

Is it worth upgrading to a new cpu for that socket?
I see some i7 stuff on newegg for super cheap ~100-200$ for i7s (of course old generation...)

tbh if you upgrade cpu your not far behind current gen in terms of gaming.
I still have a 3770k oc'd and its not worth buying new for me.
If I streamed or did production stuff Amd's new cpu's ain't bad.
