On my computer i have 2 hard drives C: and D:
every now and then D: is at 100% in task manager performance tab, not sure what's causing this, but it's quite troublesome causes lag and other problems.
Any idea how to fix/what's causing this?



/edit C: is the drive i'm booting from/using

HDD or SSD ?

It could be anything from Spotify to Windows background downloading update.

And do you have one physical drive with two partitions C and D, or two physical drives ?

They are two seperate HDD

Isolate the application/service that's causing the incresd usage.
If none appear to be causing it run a virus scan.
If it persists let us know.

i unmounted the other hard-drive and everything is ok so far now....
