need to finally upgrade ps4 to 2tb laptop hdd

is it safe to buy cheapest on ebay? claims seagate 2tb 2.5" 60-70$ looks like the price
looks legit but have bought micro sd card scams before


i assume these are legit tho because hard to pull off? lmk ty

Seems to be the going price for open box/refurb. New is only $10-15 more.

I can see the listings you see on ebay are generally new pulls from laptops that most likely upgraded to ssd.

While they are most likely not scams, you have a big headache on warranty claims if you should have a defect or damage during shipping. There would be none from the manufacturer, just at the mercy of the seller's policies. Buy from a seller with history of selling the same product and read feedback.

Just make sure the hdd is 9.5mm in thickness, any bigger and it will not fit.

I wouldn't bother over $10 versus a one day amazon prime purchase but if you choose to go the ebay route knowing the risks of the possible headaches, shoot.

^^ For the above reasons I'd either buy new or find a $70 SSD and cut my load times by like 80%

would love to go ssd instead but figured these gonna be like double the price
i dont really care as much about load times as much as mass storage space

i do have amazon prime but not once have i purchased anything there

almost missed the thickness part you said ty for tips
i do have amazon prime but not once have i purchased anything there
