Curious if anyone on here might be able to help.

When i play black ops 4 my GPU temp get really high, roughly 85C +/-

This is the only game it does it on and all of the visual settings are either turned off or set to low... I have a pretty built PC (2080 TI, AIO cooler, lots of fans, etc).

I cleaned the PC recently and it didn't make a difference. I have turned the fans to 100% and no difference. I even took the glass panels off hoping for more airflow and basically ran an open test bench practically and still no difference.

Never had the PC crash or anything while playing but i know 85C is not good....

Any help?

whats ur gpu?
85 might be normal.

2080 TI FE

temps a bit high then but only 5c
maybe bad thermal paste application.
we don't know your room temp either and its mid of summer.

from normal fan curve to 100%
the gpu temps stay the same

thats either the fan didnt increase
or bad sensor
or a ojed card

Room stays about 71F or so



Maybe a 1-2C difference...

I can tell the fans are actually ramping up because they get louder and i can feel it. I was surprised too, esp when i removed the glass panels and no change in temp

Sensor is fine, black ops is the only game that it spikes on
