Already have a desktop thats been good to me for many years

I want a laptop for gaming when im not at home

Any recommendations? Not looking for anything crazy. Prefer something under 1000 and a good price/performance ratio

But if there are some over 1000 and noteworthy, id love to see them as well

All I sorted for was... New, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 15.5" and ASUS, MSI or Acer.

/e These are just neweeg prices... tomorrow and Tuesday is Prime day on Amazon. Might be able to save a bunch.
Might wanna check Dell as well... they were having a killer sale on a gaming laptop last week?

Most important would be what type of games you would be playing. Diablo 2 vs Witcher 3.. big spec requirement difference.

Then screen size preference, weight.. will you be carrying it around all day? Do you need hdmi? Usb-c?

Thats it

I do not have size or weight preference

Dont need hdmi or usb-c

I do mind if the laptop gets super hot. I am not sure if all laptops are like that and a external fan is needed underneath
