So I was looking at getting a blower cooler for a 2080 Ti. I can buy an EVGA 2080 Ti blower cooler through Amazon for $1,140 and it'll get here by tomorrow, or I can buy a PNY 2080 Ti blower cooler for $970 and it'll get here the first week of June, ~June 6th.

The EVGA card comes through Amazon while the PNY card is through eBay

Both are new condition.

why not used 1080ti for half that for about the same performance?

Blower coolers exhaust all the heat out of the back of the case. They are completely sealed.
Multi-fan coolers are not sealed and exhaust heat back into the case.

That EVGA has a nicer lookin blower and a back plate but does it perform better?.. Hmmm.

I think I'll buy the EVGA one just because the cooler is beefer looking and you get the backplate. Plus EVGA is a great company and I can return this card through amazon if I need to. The PNY through eBay is a new card but with no returns. I would have to deal with PNY RMA.

Ultimately the PNY casing looked cheaper than the EVGA. I'll spend the extra money I think. Plus if you add money to your amazon balance they'll add 2% of what you add. I added 1.1k
