So the GTX 970 is DisplayPort 1.2. For 144 Hertz at 1440p you need DisplayPort 1.4. They pushed out a firmware update for DisplayPort 1.3 or 1.4 and it says it affects my GTX 970 but I don't know if that means that upgrades me to 1.4. I assume it does.

I've tried two different cables and 144 Hertz is extra sharp so it makes text look funny but everything else looks fantastic.

Any idea?
