I start my computer. Click Chrome and its just a black screen. Can minimize resize and even close it if I hit the right spot.

Try to uninstall. Doesnt load the window but the bottom bar says a chrome window is open.

At this point if I keep that invisible window up I can now open Chrome and it works fine.

Anyone heard of this issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would reboot into safe mode, uninstall Chrome, and all it's associated folders etc. Then run an online scanner like ESET Online scanner, and also run malwarebytes. Then, reinstall Chrome.

Should I run the ESET online scanner and malwarebytes in safe mode?

I would run ESET in normal mode, and malwarebytes in Safe mode.

I uninstalled it in safemode. Restarted it in normal mode and just reinstalled Chrome and its working fine.

I will run those tests though.

Thanks Ghot

They will probably come up clean. Chrome probably just got corrupted.
