Hello there,

so I just got a new notebook and I've just finished installing all the drivers and updates.

Now I was just checking some specs and I noticed the integrated Graphics from CPU, aka Intel UHD 630, just don't show up.
It only appears the genuine GPU from nVidia.

I'm comparing with the old notebook where both integrated and genuine GPU's appear in the list.

Is there any known issue with these drivers or it's just running in background?

Any input is welcome!

Also just noticed it just shows 4GB GPU memory while it's 8GB. I guess something is wrong with Speccy...

CPU-Z sees the right memory but still doesn't detect the Intel UHD 630.

Any reason it should stay disabled?

I've contacted the notebook assemblers who sold me the notebook and explained me it's is not supported by this model.
Whatever, I'll live with that and the RTX 2080 should be able to handle any task I guess. I was just curious...

Now it's time to run some benchmarks! :D

That's what I figured. Some Clevo models don't have an integrated GPU.

Yep, exactly. They explained me this Clevo model is designed as a desktop replacement more than just a notebook.
Therefore the battery also lasts less than the old notebook (also a Clevo) which was using "m" CPU and GPU.

Anyway knowing it it's just fine. I'm satisfied with my new workstation! :)

It should be a Clevo P775TM1-G tho, pretty solid machine in my eyes!

Most likely a BIOS setting, check hidden configurations in your BIOS.

Ye but if they turned it off there must be a reason I guess. Anyway after having updated everything I noticed the battery lasts more than previously.
Now using is as a laptop just for browsing and common stuff can lasts 2-3 hours (depending on the tasks). Which is acceptable in my opinion.

Yeah, the reason is USE OUR STUFF

While theirs may be better, they aren't going to let you use someone else by default and potentially think you don't need them in the future :)
