Looking to grab a 1060 6gb on the most popular online auction site. I'm a little unsure about buying a used card, especially with the price fluctuation I've noticed over the last week. About a week ago, a used 1060 6gb would run about $150 in auction, but I am suddenly seeing a lot of them listed for around $100. Could this large price drop be due to the recent release of the 2060, or should I avoid auction with such large price decreases compared to last week?

I just noticed there are a few sellers at that price and they've got zero ratings. Big red flag.

I've heard differing opinions on buying cards that were previously used for crypto mining. Any thoughts on whether a former crypto card is any better or worse to buy used than a card used for gaming?

Depends on the conditions. If it was ran at 85 degrees for months on end, probably had a lot wear. If it was run at 75 degrees for a little while, it's fine.
