I have a MSI gaming laptop. gp62vr leopard pro. i just got an hdmi to usb c adaptor so i can run 3 monitors, but i cant get anything to detect through that port. is there a way to fix this?

Try switch display over first with fn + f2 function on your keyboard.
Are you sure your laptop supports video output from the usb-c port?

i figured it would.... isnt the usb c a mini display port?

So the mini display won’t work either??

u can run 3 monitors including the laptop screen couting as 1 of em. So u can connect 1 monitor via hdmi and one thru Display Port. So that would be 3 total. pretty much u can add 2x more monitors

3 monitors isn't too special. get a 21:9.
