Walmart
SAMSUNG 40" Class 4K (2160P) Ultra HD Smart LED TV (UN40NU7200) with $20 VUDU Credit (2018 Model)
$377.99

BestBuy
Samsung - 43" Class - LED - NU7100 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR
$399.99

Upgrading from a 32" insignia roku 720P tv...
Computer value probably $2,200 , and can probably handle 3-4x 65" @4k

My Question is...
is there any performance boosts out of the 40" tv?
Since its 3" smaller than the other, and supposedly it has the same exact hardware inside....
I was wondering if that would make the tv run slightly faster, and or help prevent some freeze complaints that some users are having?

has anyone heard that maybe because its 3" smaller, that maybe it makes the display bad for computer useage?

Basically just woundering if anyone has used either of these or heard anything.

I guess the Nu7200 models is specifically a wal-mart only thing, because fudu, and the only difference is the color of the plastic legs.
But the hardware should be the same? idk.

i was thinking 43" would be a perfect fit for my current desk/wall ... so im kind of like 50/50 here...
Basically jw if the 40 or 43" would be a better choice based on computer resolutions?

how do you figure? im not going to spend 12x the amount of money for a 40" computer screen.
Going to be using this tv... for computer, xbox, and watching movies on.

Gaming and movies on the same display is just a bad idea. TV's have bad input lag and often shitty refresh rates. Gaming monitors have lower colors and are generally smaller.
Also, if you wanna game at 4k you better have one hell of a computer.
Also size of display doesn't really impact how hard it is to run, it's the resolution; 1x display at 4k is like 4x display's at 1080p. And unless you're buying tv's with displayport, you won't be able to hook 4 of them up to your PC.

running 2x Nvidia GTX 1080TI

well i didn't want to spend 250$ on a 55" roku 4k tv...
because i know its not going to actually be a good display.
I went to bestbuy and wal-mart and compared tvs, the samsung was better display / less glare .
so thats why i want a samsung tv.

But my Question about 40 or 43 is the same as asking 49 or 50 "

You spend 2200 on computer and then you are cheaping on screen? Sell one of your 1080ti and get Dell ultrasharp instead.

Even 2 1080ti's is going to be ruff for 4k gaming, and if you have that, buy a real fuckin monitor and a sep TV. You clearly have the money, don't cheap out.

holy drama here

wish more responses was happening faster cause my popcorn ran out

twice

anyways I have to agree on shaft on this
input lag is big for online gaming
you can check rtings for that if your tv isnt on there then risk it like condoms brought to you by shaft lol

tcl does make couple tvs worth being monitors check the input lag from couple sources unless you play single player then do whatever lol
