Getting really sick of the Vmoda (it's inabilty to stay in place and and the cable is starting to go out).
I like my headphones, and they still work fine, so don't need those.
Looking at upgrading to a standalone mic that I could also use for recording vocals/acoustic instruments, but won't break the bank. I know the snowball is common, but are there better options, especially if I'm willing to use a soundcard or audio interface?
Looking to stay under $100 total for this, will probably buy a set of acoustic panels (not included in budget), to reduce echoing since I have hard floors in my room.
