Friend of mine forgot his pw for his bitlocker when he starts up his laptop and ofcourse the dumbass didnt write it down trying to reset it for him
Its an hp elitebook ill try and get more info on the model

Thanks im looking into it seems fairly simple until i get in the comp then i would have to figure out how to hard reset

Actually reading on gparted it can detect bitlocker but can not do anything to it. If i used gparted to get on the computer could i use it to say, make another user? But i think i need the bit locker to get access to anything on the hard drive so it would be useless?

I think if you overwrite the partition table it should work. if not try this:
