Probably cost me the same or more to build one like that. Any thoughts?

The cheapest i7 I can find is like 250 bucks. XD

The 1TB HDD isn't required. Don't have tons of shit to put on it just a simple gaming PC.

That was just a comparable build to the prebuilt, I'd never recommend half those parts.
