hey guys

i got massive fps drops in the new call of duty game black ops 4. the game has 2 game mods basically multiplayer and battle yoale mode. i got the fps breaks in the battle royale mode regardless of what graphic settings i'm running. it's jumping anywhere from 20 to 120 fps all the time. the other mode, multiplayer, seems to be working just fine.
im running a lenovo y530 gaming laptop. here are the specs:

ProcessorIntel Core i5-8300H

Graphics adapterNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Notebook) - 4096 MB, GDDR5, tel:23.20.16.497323.20.16.4973[/URL]

Memory 8192 MB, DDR4-2666

any advice how i could fix it apart from buying a new laptop?

ur specs seems fine but maybe ur temps are not.. have to checked ur temps when playing BR?

BR games can be demanding cuz of lots of players and big map..

and given its a laptop it might be a cooling problem when its under load

if it has intake or exhaust on the bottom, hows the airflow under it? does it have big feet?

see if there is a "game mode" u can enable - usually a app or a keyboard shortcut that will turn the fans max speed
