Just ordered the ASUS PG278QR Monitor (1 ms 165hz oc tn panel g sync wqhd) and an MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB.
Will they work great together and serv acceptable experience? Mby High Experience...? I‘ve read the 1080 is just a few % faster than her little sister.

Wanna play games like Black Ops 4, Overwatch, The Witcher 3, Tomb Raider, Battlefield, CS:GO, Skyrim

Yeah. And you need a better gpu to run that resolution at that speed. It takes crazy GPU power to max a 1440p game. Especially the newer ones coming out.
