i've used a towel. one of my old monitors was getting hella dirty and I just unplugged it and moved it off my desk and cleaned it really well with a towel and it looked brand new. got in every crevice and sht. so its up to u but to be safe u can use a microfiber cloth

I just use a damp cloth, with a little rubbing alcohol. The water cleans, And the alc helps it dry faster/not leave streaks/water marks.

Pretty much all 'cleaners' are mostly just water/rubbing alc.
