Prebuilt actually been very viable in the low-mid budget category for at least a year now. As long as you stay clear from OEM systems.
But obviously the one he linked to was a troll, probably the worst possible specs ^_^

cooler has no price but they are being sold, just have to search it.
upgrade gpu down the road when you need it.

its alot better lately i agree, but i think there is still alot of rip off prebuilt out there and u need to know what to look for if u want the best bang for buck
some of the bad stuff i seen on prebuilt's the past year - last gen cpu, cheapest mobo and psu possible, m.2 sata instead of nvme and 1060 3gb

yea i saw it... did u?? $500-800 "mega super budget" -so he is probably spending as low as possible

my build is 600 with 1050 ti and yours is 800 with 1050 ti and better cpu - IMO better to spend more on gpu then spend more cpu

if you are somewhat serious about pc gaming I can kinda agree
cpus last longer than gpu but if you cheap out right away you are stuck upgrading both again
why not get a great cpu right away and only need to upgrade gpu later
look at all the people that got fx series cpus if they would have picked up a 2500k or greater they still be doing pretty good now, but no they cheaped out then and now need both

Only cpu? Yeah cause the ram and ssd are clearly worse.
Who wants to replace whole system and or cpu when they need an upgrade.
As stated above start with a good foundation and build upon it.
I'm within the budget, if 800 was too much it wouldn't be listed.

sure i agree.. but only if he wants to upgrade later like u say... if he want the best he can get right now, i think a better gpu would be better then a better cpu
