Brand new just opened a few hours ago


Sent my pc up and flicker on the power. Psu makes a Chi Chi noise very fast. Mobo and gpus light up for .2seconds then shut off.
take entire pc apart. Test the psu with the mobo plug on thing it comes with. Same exact noise and fan does not spin. It's off eco mode.

Scary thing? When the power switch is switched to - and O it still fucking clicks. Like how the hell is power still getting through on both on and off.

Assuming bad psu?


Plugged the mobo end cap into another psu and that psu boots. Looks like I got a bad one

When buying EVGA PSUs, always get the G2 or the GS models.

I needed 10 8 pin pcie

rma it, or return to store if you can.

Yeah just returning it and grabbing a new one.

Well, just RMA it then.

I am. Was just trying to make sure it was the psu and not the computer. I had forgotten about the mobo dummy plug and that I had a spare psu on the office.
