I bought a set of neewer clip on mics 2 years back and they're all broken atm (plugged in and it says microphone is unavailable - if i unplug it, it'll grey out so I know it's the right entry - tried debugging this shit and couldn't get it to work).

Looking for alternatives that will last me longer... and not have shit quality
budget: under 50 CAD (blue snowball ice is an exception if it's REALLY worth it)
