I have a thermaltake frio which I lost the brackets for. Now I am in need of lga 1151 brackets for it. Is there anyway to get them? I tried searching amazon, ebay, other sites in my country etc. even contacted thermaltake but they didnt respond :(

There are about 3-4 different Thermaltake Frios.

But I would just buy a new cooler. If you could even find the bracket(s) they would cost as much as the whole cooler.

I checked Thermaltake's website, they don't seem to have them listed anywhere. Here is a telephone number for Thermaltake. I dunno if it's valid or not...probably is though.

/e I got same number again for Thermaltake tech support... https://www.computerhope.com/comp/thermalt.htm

well I live in turkey and a new cooler (same as one i got) costs around 800 which is like 120$ or slight more.

I have found a few websites that sell the kit but they only ship to australia which is frustrating

like this one: https://www.auspcmarket.com.au/lga1156-mounting-kit-for-isgc-3-4-cpu-coolers/

e/ theres also this one, im not sure what language this one is : https://www.plus4u.gr/thermaltake-clz0012-intel-socket-lga1156-clip-for-isgc_300%252f400/134015452-134015452/p

Look for any of these...

CRYORIG H7 or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, or Thermaltake Frio. From the one site I went to, they were about 400

Turkey

...and get one of these for push/pull...

But call them first and make sure it comes with the 1151 bracket.

/ee I know these coolers come with 1151 brackets. At least they do in the US.

e/ btw I am using i5 8400, the msi might be an overkill since oc just want to use something other than the stock cooler

The CRYORIG H7 has best airflow and least noise.

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (the one I linked was the Hyper 212), is a great cooler and that fan I linked is what you want for a 2 fan setup.

I use the same cooler with the extra fan on it...

/e But like I said if you can get the CRYORIG H7, go with that.

Well, you don't NEED it. But it is a whole lot easier. It's an AIO (all-in-one) cooler, zero maintenance.

Just attach the fans to the radiator, the radiator to the case, and the CPU block to the CPU. That's it.

The Corsair H60 (1x 120mm) usually mounts where the rear exhaust fan goes. The H100i v2 usually mounts where the top 2x 120mm fans go (or the front two).

/e Really, w/e fits your desire and your wallet. They are all good coolers.
