You can play a free trial version. Why not just give it a go.

my friend use to play on a mac book back in 2009 and he lagged a lot in crowded cities

you can play it if you put all the video settings on minimum and start from there, except resolution you would want that on max

Agreed best advice is to load the trial.

System requirements keep going up as they "improve" the game. The game took far fewer resources to run in 09 than todays game.
The spec the OP listed might not be current.
Also min spec might run but not be very playable.

Some settings you lower to get better performance while only sacrificing pretty graphics. Others will put you at a disadvantage. Not seeing enemies in distance, unable to look thru surface of water etc

Yeah as I suspected. The machine I was multiboxing with in 2009 could not handle one copy of the current game.

someone sold me a lemon pc back in the day (that was literally worse than the computer I got them to try and fix) and when I went to that spectral boss raid in WoW during MoP I got like 3 fps on lowest settings. and that was a regular computer. but most places had descent fps. so maybe if ur just leveling you might be fine. raids are a nono probably. you just gotta try it imo
