Is this a new system to you or did this just start happening on a current system? If current system, did you update anything recently?
Have you made sure none of those audio devices are disabled in Sound settings? (right click your speaker icon in the bottom right, then select "sounds")
If using a USB powered headset, have you made sure appropriate drivers are installed?
