Going to microcenter to take a look at some monitors as I'm considering getting a new one this winter. Had a 1080p60hz for the last half decade, and ready to step up to something new. Can't decide if I wanna go ultrawide, 1440p, or high refresh rate.
I also looking at buying a 1070ti or 1080 some time after the 2k series comes out, and the games I play mostly are PoE, DOTA2, D3.
Looking for some suggestions on what to look at and what to look for in a monitor (common likes/dislikes, stuff like that).
Inb4 urbanshafts 1440p144hz Korean monitor, I k ow that'll get posted lol.

Any typical 165 IPs 1440p monitor for gaming
Dell ultrasharps for everything else

Donet need 144hz for those games



Absolutely... as a Dell Ultrasharp Ultrawide owner myself, there is NO substitute

I guess I also play overwatch as well, but not super competitively.

If it needed new monitors id be all over 3 of them

It's more a matter of if I want refresh rate vs IPS and 16:9 vs 21:9.
If I decide on 1440/144, that's probably what I'll get.
