So, my build consist of

Windows 8.1 64-bit

Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz

16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-27) (Used to consist of 8gb 1600 mhz, 2x 4gb sticks)

ASRock Z97 Extreme4

4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (EVGA)

232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD)

So my problem began when I upgraded my ram from 2 4gb sticks of 1600 to 4x 4gb sticks of 2133. After installation PC wouldn't boot past BIOS. So after doing some research I increased voltage little by little till I thought
it was stable all the way up to 1.8v lol until BSOD went away. Played pubg fine for a couple hours then BSOD began again. This started happening at random times, from 5 minutes to random 5 hours.

So currently I reduced the speed to stick 1600 and it's been stable since.

I use speccy to check to see if the timing/speed is properly in use and as displayed.

I so far have changed the settings in BIOS like setting the xmp ect ect where the timing is set for the proper speed @ 11-11-11-27 for 2133hmz, 1.6-1.8v ect ect. Ive also tried under doing the voltage, but that didn't work.
I also assume the ram is good as it's been solid for 2 days of gaming @ 1600mhz.

any idea guys?

Have you run a memtest to make sure they are stable?
Is it new ram or did you buy used?
You make sure it's not the PSU or Mobo not able to handle the added voltage?

Take OUT the RAM you added and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then you can probably assume you're having a mix n match problem with the RAM.

I haven't tested the ram but id assume it's stable and working properly if I used it for 2 days without any problems, right? but then again never assume right lol.

the mobo voltage might be a problem but the base ram voltage on the sticker as advertised is 1.5v. I just upped it for troubleshooting. PSU is capable.

You stated in OP that you bought 4x 4gb... Which is it?
And a real memtest will tell you more than 2 days light use will.
When you installed in mobo, did you make sure to use the right dimm slots? You can refer to your mobo manual for info on this.

Also, have you monitored temps to make sure that it's not bsod as an overheating prevention measure?if your OC to that high voltage and you don't have enough airflow over your mobos VRM, you could be heating up your mobo excessively.

it was 2x 8gb sets and is 2x4, per set, so 4x4gb total. ill do the memtest, i got annoyed and am running it at 1600/1.5v for now lol. also there is a specific way to put in the same exact ram in my dimm slots? there are 4 in use and 4 total with all the exact same hardware.

where might i do this memtest?
