First of all, if you would pick anything else please let me know, this is not locked list by any means.
Not even sure what color scheme for this build yet. I'm just not into the RGB crazy. Much rather have pure white LED, and let the hardware parts and fluid handle the scheme.
I know the PSU and watercooling is pretty overkill for this setup. But those parts will stay in the build for years and years to come. This way it's also ready for another GPU, and if I ever wanna switch to the extreme platform where OC'd CPU would be 500W+

My shopping list so far:

Custom PC table, parts in a separate excel document (built in 10,1 LCD screen)
I've made some rough sketches in hand, currently learning how to use SketchUp a 3D modelling program

Hardware:
i9 9900k
Z390 Asus Maximus
32GB 4x8GB 3600MHz+ RAM
2x 970 EVO 500GB Raid 0 (maybe just 1x 1TB 970 EVO, depends on DMI getting tested on Z390)
RTX2080 TI
Corsair HX1200 Platinum
(I will add more SSD storage down the road)

Pc peripherals:
Asus PG35VQ/Acer Predator X35 (Ultrawide 1440p, 200HZ, HDR, G-Sync) Very uncertain on this one. Depends on reviews and the final pricing, hoping for 1500$.
2x Secondary 27" 1440p
Audioengine A5+ Speakers
Sennheiser PC 373D Headset
SecretLabs Titan Chair
(I ready have Logitech G903 and Corsair Strafe RGB I wanna reuse)

Water cooling:
5x 90° fittings
16x 16mm fittings
4x 4x45° fittings
D5 pump
Monoblock (CPU)
GPU block
GPU backplate
2x Reservoirs 250mm
7x EK Vardar 140mm
Radiator 560mm
Radiator 420mm
3x 500mm tube
Fluid
Equiment

I got the approximate prices in excel documents.
PC desk materials: 410$
Hardware: 2700$
Pc peripherals: 2400$
Watercooling: 1030$
Total: 6540$ (1000$ buffer for extra/unexpected miscellaneous)
Hopefully it will be under 7500$ in the end.

Sitting on 3400$ for it so far, and in two weeks time I will have another 3000$.
But no rush, I wanna enjoy the journey to the finished product.
Also to the right in the custom desk my current server will be built in (Might upgrade this to a threadripper 2 down the road)

Oh I also need a triple monitor stand. Haven't been able to find any that can accommodate 35" 21:9 + 2x 27" 16:9.
I have considered wall mounts, but it would be awesome to build a monitor stand into the desk.

holy shit thats a baller setup dude, that will probably be one of the best pcs in DK :D and i think its the right time to make it, with new cpu and gpu coming soon

would not change anything, only downgrade it to my needs :D one thing tho i would probably get a 4k monitor, but that (Ultrawide 1440p, 200HZ, HDR, G-Sync) is a killer

Well probably not one of the most powerful computing wise. But for gaming sure one of the top ones in DK :D
Yeah it's a perfect time with Turing and Coffee Lake coming out very soon. Even through I hoped for 10nm from Intel. I'm a bit sad it's just another 14nm+++++. Well at least it's 8c/16t.

Yeah I also considered the asus PG27UQ aka first generation 4k, 144hz, HDR, G-Sync monitor. Currently we own both a 1440p and 4k in 27". For me the 1440p is perfectly sharp, while I don't have to use windows scaling. While on the 4k it needs 150% scaling in my opinion. Then a lot of programs and text will be come a bit blurry and 4k will also be harder to pull, compared to a 1440p ultrawide.

BTW these are my inspirations to the PC desk, fusing my favorite parts from each table:

My peen twitched a little

Are you going to do a build log with updates as well? :)

Dont raid the SSDs. Buy a single ssd instead. Onboard raid isnt able to keep up with high performance raids. Youll end up with more headache than not unless you purchase a dedicated raid card.

You need to make the monitors rise out of the desk itself.

Sure I could do build logs, with pictures and a video of the final project, if you guys want it in here.
I got another hardware forum here i planned to posted it. But I could make a topic with the progress in here as well. The build is probably going take 2-4 weeks. But again I'm in it for the journey

Indeed you right. was kinda a 50/50 choice. It's mostly for the 4k write/read speeds. But I will check out some reviews on the motherboard and decide then.
I even considered an Intel Optane 900p 280GB, but performance wise it wouldn't make sense, I'm doing this build on a budget
The only platform doing NVMe Raid correctly right now is Ryzen Threadripper.

Something similar to this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_bV6syHhDU

Gonna be tricky to hide properly with the design I have in mind.
I do consider a hydraulic lift for the glass. A cool and easy way to get access to the hardware.

Also I haven't decided on build material just yet, I need to decide between metal/aluminum or MDF (Not sure if that's popular in US, I think they prefer Plywood for funitures?). Right now i lean mostly towards MDF. Tho Aluminium would feel more premium probably.
I know I wanna get it powder coated in black.

Sort of. Just build your desk however you want then add the rising monitors behind it, but attached.

I would go with steel or aluminum, MDF is kinda junky. Find some small metal shop near you. Those guys will probably pay you to let them build it, especially if you plaster it all over the internet (free advertising).
Another reason not to use MDF is that after a while it starts to sag, and it definitely won't like it if the cooling system leaks all over it.

Thanks for the tip! I will try to check some metal shops around my area.
I would happily raise my budget a few hundred bucks for that.
The 410$ was calculated with MDF as the main material.
