should have 17" or bigger if thats possible. not sure what is max.

what i need:

2 monitors need to be connected
should be able to run 3x windows (1x win 10, 2x win server in a vm)
needs at least 500gb ssd
docking possibility

is there anything besides stupid dell? they are pretty bad in terms of build quality. often break in first year of use.

What Dell models have you been trying? XPS is probably the most well built windows laptop on the marked.

What budget are we talking?

no budget i dont pay for it.

i had dell precision and they were bad af. the lid broke twice in a year.

Haven't tried any from the precision series.
Only XPS and Inspiron series..

What do you think of a laptop with gamer look?
Do you need Xeon for ECC memory support?

well wouldnt look the best when i have meetings but i guess it doesnt matter too much. can always hide it under a cover if needed.

never had a xeon. my current one from my old work has a 6820hq in it. since im doing the same work there it should be more than enough ^^ just need something sturdy

Actually don't know much about marked with 17"+ laptops.
Gonna peak in here once in a while to check the recommendations :)
