Is it harmless to have speakers (with the magnets in them) directly next to the PC box or is it not recommended?

10 inch driver in tower and 10 inch powered sub

14tb data still there and no issues

youll be fine. even a speaker magnet isnt really powerful enough to wipe a hard drive. you would have to get it closer to the platters. magnetism and electronics dont mix, but those arent close enough or strong enough to influence.
