I got quite a lot of dough saved up for my next build.
Currently still aiming for intel gen.9, gtx1080(ti if it comes) and 200hz ultrawide 1440p HDR Gsync from either Asus og Acer, depending on price, features and availability.
All built in a custom case with custom water loop.

It's only 4.95m pixels. 4k UHD is 8.29m pixels.
Not like Im aiming for 200fps in AAA titles.
200hz are for the competitive games i play like League of legends, counter-strike and rocket league, who knows, I might take up overwatch or fortnite.
I usually aim for 90~ fps in AAA games. I lower performance-intensive settings which have little visual impact. Things like shadow, SSAA, reflections etc. Depending on the game, for an example Witcher 3 maxed shadows are worth it.

I will be adding 2x 27in 1440p ips monitors to the setup as secondaries.

Doing a complete build once they release new gpus and price/availability stabilizes. Aiming to spend around $3k on the build

Uhh same here. $3-3.5k for the hardware. Hopefully $4k is enough for the watercooling, monitors, sound and materials for the custom build.
