Main monitor 120hz+ with a 60hz secondary?
Windows 10 got an anyoing hardware acceleration. Where If there is any animation on a 60hz. The higher refresh monitor Will start stuttering.

main monitor is 144hz with 60hz secondary.
Yes that is exactly what is happening.
If I watch twitch or something on my 60hz my 144hz will start studdering too.
Is this a known problem?

been happening to me lately. some fix I have been using is just play games in full screen mode only. no borderless windowed.

it still happens a tiny bit sometimes and yeah i'll watch my fps drop from a regular 75 with no loss of framerates ever to a 60fps that feels really glitchy and unstable.

just try full screen mode. it's terrible cause of alt tabbing is ruined but yea..

You make sure drivers are all up to date (both display and gfx card)? You are using vid card output's, not mobo right?

I have the same setup and issue, I found what works for me is not having the twitch stream or youtube video on the second monitor at full 1080p quality. Usually 720p is good but sometimes I knock it down to 480p

/e this is while gaming on the main monitor right?

Yes sadly this is a very known issue within Windows 10.
There is no known fix. The only thing you can do is running games etc fullscreen on the main monitor.

Any animation would start the stutter with my old system. Even a small gif running on the secondary monitor.
