will try now, i was trying to update from scratch and it got stuck twice, hopefully this works
is it worth going to win10?
I'd say 70-75% of folks think so. I'm still on Win 7, mainly because a lot of programs I use, need Windows 7.
If you want to switch to Win 10, it's still free. Use AIDA64 Extreme to get your Windows 7 CD key, then go here for the Win 10 ISO...
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10Use the media creation tool to make a bootable USB stick to Install Windows 10. Note: If you have Win 7 Home, then you will get Win 10 Home. If Win 7 Pro, then you will get Win 10 Pro.
/e It's always better to do a absolutely clean install of Windows 10. Don't do an Upgrade install. It takes more space, and is always buggy.
/ee This program will allow you to delete your C: drive for a clean install of Windows 10... EaseUs Partition Master
