I like Zalman ZM - STG2.
Never dries out, needs no curing time, is an A class TC.
Not fashionable. :D

Arctic Silver 5 is only .5C more efficient, it dries, it needs 200 hours curing time.

if you can get the points where the heat spreader and heatsink touch to completely contact on a microscopic level, best not to use any.
You can do this with a 1 million grit sander

liquid metal , pressure mount , cooler directly on die.

If you wanna be basic use thermal grizzly paste

Arctic silver 5

Think I might get the Silver 5.

I live in New Mexico and it's always hot as fuckkkk here. So besides the curing time, is there anything else I should be worried about?

Here...

/e The liquid metal pastes are obviously the best. Only problem is they are an absolute bitch to remove. Think... sanding it off. Arctic Silver 5 is only a little bit easier to get off.

The temp chart is obvious.
Viscosity is ease of application.
Usability is ease of removal.
