Looking for good home theater projector under $750.
i think the benq 2050A seems to be the best bet? any others to consider?

the 2050A has lower input lag compared with the non A version.

The 3050 is more expensive, but supposedly has better color representation, but probably not worth the extra price?

I have not really looked much into other brands. Needs to be at least 1080p resolution.

Some BenQ projectors create a 4-5" halo border around the screen, which can be distracting during viewing. I know the HT2550 does this.

ok thanks. the ht2550 is the 4k version i believe.
but other than the halo border, its decent for the price? im thinking of the 1080p 2050A model.

not too sure what the halo border is? like just white light? anything to help it, like a black border around the screen?

any stick type smart usb device thing. fire stick, roku, etc...

if the projector has the specific usb port to use the usb stick and power it. not all projectors have it.

or just plug in a laptop using hdmi, vga, or dvi, whatever ports are needed.
